The Fairy Blue Penguin
For a paper promotion project, I chose to focus on the Neenah Royal Sundance Midnight Blue linen paper and Neenah Translucent Radiant White paper. Neenah is well known for its paper promotions, as they always seem to have an element of interaction. Knowing this, I wanted to also include a level of interactivity to my promotion to show just how creative these papers allow you to be.

With this in mind and my love of animal education, I designed a simple one-page booklet about the incredibly small Fairy Blue Penguin. The front and back cover were kept simple with ample breathing room, to contrast the type- and image-heavy interior pages. The inside cover shows general facts and descriptions about the fairy blue penguin. The interior is four, layered translucent papers showing the internal anatomy, creating an interactive journey through the penguin’s exterior, muscles, organs, blood vessels and skeletal system.
